About the workshop

The Horizon Europe projects EASVOLEE, AEROSOLS and PAREMPI are pleased to invite you to their Joint Policy Workshop in Brussels on 1 December 2026.

Over the past years, the three projects have studied how emissions from transport are formed, how they change in the atmosphere, and how they affect air quality and human health. Their work covers regulated and unregulated emissions from road vehicles, emissions from shipping and aviation, the formation of secondary aerosol from semi‑volatile and intermediate‑volatility compounds, and the health effects of fine particles.

The workshop will bring together researchers, European Commission representatives, industry and other stakeholders to discuss the key policy‑relevant findings of the three projects and how this scientific evidence can support future EU air quality and vehicle emission policies.

Why attend?

  • Hear the latest scientific results from three Horizon Europe projects on transport emissions and air quality
  • Learn about the perspectives of the European Commission (DG ENV, DG GROW) and industry
  • Take part in an open panel discussion on translating research into European air quality and vehicle emission policies
  • Network with researchers, policymakers and stakeholders working on cleaner transport and cleaner air

Who should attend?

Policymakers and officials from EU institutions and national authorities, researchers, industry representatives, NGOs, and anyone interested in air quality, vehicle emissions and transport policy.
