The conveners of the EAC session were Pourya Shahpoury, Athanasios Nenes, and Daniele Contini. The session included talks on the mechanisms by which aerosols interact with environmental factors and human health, the impact of oxidative stress due to aerosols on respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, and measurement techniques for quantifying the oxidative potential of particulate matter and its components.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wpa-warning wpa-image-missing-alt wp-image-1181 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.easvolee.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/eac2024_c.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"581\" height=\"407\" data-warning=\"Missing alt text\" \/><\/div>\n<p>Furthermore, FORTH researchers (Andreas Aktypis, Stella E.
