The first EASVOLEE Annual Meeting took place in person at Foundation for Research and Technology HELLAS/Institute of Chemical Engineering Sciences in Patras (FORTH/ICE-HT) between March 7 and 8, 2024. The first day of the meeting focused on project updates from WPs 1-2: Emissions of Organic and Other Pollutants (WP1) and Atmospheric Processing of Emissions (WP2)

February 6th, 2024 EASVOLEE coordinator Spyros Pandis presented an overview of the project in the kick off meeting of ΜΙ-TRAP “Mitigating Traceability of Pollutants from Transport Emissions” project at NCSR DEMOKRITOS in Athens on February 6th. Potential areas for collaboration between EASVOLEE and MI-TRAP were discussed.

January 21-24, 2024 Yinon Rudich visited the IRCELYON lab and the CRMT lab to discuss and design the sampling of car emissions for the acellular and cellular assays. Samples collected during some test drives and under different conditions were prepared and analyzed for OC mass and untargeted analysis by the Lyon group and were shipped

After a pre-study phase, a few weeks ago, the CRMT team began on-board measurements on the first vehicle to be tested as part of the EASVOLEE project (WP1, WP2).

EASVOLEE team visited the Frejus tunnel at the French/Italian border & the CRMT Powertrain facility at Lyon.
