Fréjus Tunnel Emissions Measurement Campaign

In an effort to measure emissions of thousands of vehicles under realistic conditions, concentrations of gas and particulate pollutants, were measured in the Frejus Tunnel that connects France and Italy over a one-month period. These measurements were combined with tunnel traffic data (number of vehicles, vehicle types, and average speed) to calculate the average emission

Realistic vehicle emissions measurement campaign in an indoor parking facility

In the beginning of December, the EASVOLEE project started the campaign of vehicle emission measurements under realistic environments in the biggest indoor parking facility in Patras, Greece. FORTH and PSI teams work together characterizing the emissions of the vehicle fleet focusing on cold start emissions. The chemical aging of these emissions and the production of

Dynamometer measurements campaign, Biel, Switzerland

In Task 2.1 (SOA from vehicles under simulated driving conditions) both primary and secondary emissions of gasoline vehicles, diesel vehicles, scooters, and off-road vehicles were measured in dedicated dynamometer tests in Biel, Switzerland (11.03 – 05.04.2024). Watch the first moments and highlights of the dynamometer tests campaign under simulated traffic conditions in the video below.
